There are plenty of drivers that are going to be taking their chances in this year’s French Grand Prix, but if you are a very avid fan of the sport then deep down you will know that there are two drivers that are much more likely to win that race.
Those two drivers are the vastly experienced and very skilful Mercedes driver L. Hamilton and the Ferrari driver S. Vettel, if you do want to bet on either of them to win the best odds I have so far come across are 13/8.
Experience will possibly have taught you that not ever favourite or joint favourites does win such races, and there is always the possibility that the Mercedes driver V. Bottas at 7/1 or the Red Bull driver M. Verstappen at 8/1 could come out on top and win.
Apart from the Red Bull driver D. Ricciardo at 10/1 and the Ferrari driver K. Raikkonen at 12/1 all other drivers that will be taking their place on the starting grid in this year’s French Grand Prix has huge odds of at least 400/1, so there is some value there if you do fancy a bet on a rank outsider to win!
Bet on the Team to Win Instead!
You could bet on any individual driver to win the French Grand Prix or place a wager on the team you think will come out on top and there is not much separating Mercedes at 10/11 and Ferrari at 11/10, and with some slightly higher odds the Red Bull team at 7/2 may be worth a punt too!
Renault at 200/1 is a risky bet as is betting on either McLaren or Force India at 400/1, I doubt there will be many punters betting on Haas at 500/1, Sauber or Toro Rosso at 750/1 and Williams look completely friendless on this betting markets due to their huge win odds of a whopping 1000/1!
Fastest Lap Time
It is one thing being the driver that will win any Grand Prix, but one achievement all drivers will have their eyes on is being the driver that manages to get the fastest lap time, and believe it or not you will also find a betting markets on that too!
There are of course several drivers that have the most likely chance of being named as the driver that does manage to achieve the fastest lap time and those that most bookies have made favorites to do so are the Red Bull driver M. Verstappen the Ferrari driver S. Vettel and also the Red Bull driver D. Ricciardo but their odds at 3/1 are not what you could or would call huge or generous!
Therefore I have picked out three very speculative fastest lap time bets that may interest you and they include the McLaren driver F. Alonso at 100/1, the Haas driver R. Grosjean at 250/1 or how about trying for a huge payday by betting on the Williams driver L. Stroll for if you do want to bet on him then the odds on offer are huge at 1000/1!
